Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Aipear is operated by the Aipear team (“we”, “us”, or “our”). For the purposes of data protection law, we act as the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. You can reach us at hello@aipear.net.

2. Data We Collect

Account data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image to create and identify your account. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Workspace data

We store the brands, competitors, prompts, question clusters, and analysis results you create in Aipear so we can display them back to you and run your daily analyses.

Billing data

Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. We receive your subscription status and plan tier from Lemon Squeezy. We never see, receive, or store your full payment card details — these are processed directly by Lemon Squeezy.

Usage and technical data

We collect basic technical information such as log data, device and browser type, and how you interact with the Service. We use this to keep Aipear secure and to diagnose technical problems.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Where data protection law requires us to identify a legal basis for processing your personal data, we rely on the following:

• Contract performance — processing your account data, workspace data, and subscription information is necessary to provide the Service you signed up for
• Legitimate interests — processing usage and technical data to keep the Service secure, stable, and free from abuse
• Legal obligation — retaining certain records where required by applicable law

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide the Service — running your prompts against AI providers and displaying results
• Operate automated daily analyses on your active question clusters
• Manage your account, subscription, and billing
• Communicate with you about support, security, and material updates
• Detect, prevent, and address abuse or technical issues

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your workspace content to train AI models.

5. Third-Party Services

To operate Aipear we share limited data with the following trusted providers:

• Google Firebase — user authentication and account management. Google receives your email address and profile information for sign-in purposes
• OpenAI— we send your question prompts to OpenAI’s API to generate analysis results. Your prompts are subject to OpenAI’s privacy policy and terms
• Anthropic— we send your question prompts to Anthropic’s API to generate analysis results. Your prompts are subject to Anthropic’s privacy policy and terms
• Google (Gemini API)— we send your question prompts to Google’s Gemini API to generate analysis results. Your prompts are subject to Google’s privacy policy and terms
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and subscription management. Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record and processes your payment data under their own privacy policy
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the application, database, and scheduled analysis jobs

We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of each provider above to understand how they handle data sent to their services.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Aipear uses only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to maintain your session. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioural analytics tools.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your workspace data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

8. International Data Transfers

Aipear and its service providers operate in multiple countries. Your data may be processed in the United States (OpenAI, Anthropic, Lemon Squeezy), the European Union, and other countries where our infrastructure providers operate. When data is transferred internationally, we rely on the appropriate safeguards maintained by our providers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, these rights are provided under the GDPR and UK GDPR respectively. If you are located in Turkey, these rights are provided under the KVKK (Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu).

10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you promptly in the event of any data breach that affects your personal data.

11. Children

Aipear is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are under 18, please do not use our services or provide any personal data. If we learn that we have inadvertently obtained personal information from a child, we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify you by email or in-app notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
